Sign Up as a Helper with Email

  1. Download Villey App from App Store or Google Play Store
  2. Choose Provide Help: Join as a Helper on the welcome message screen, and click Continue
  3. Choose Sign up with Email
  4. Fill in the registration form with your details, including Email, Password, First Name, Last Name, and Phone Number
  5. Verify your account by inputting the verification code sent to your email
  6. Complete the profile with Birthday, Service Type Offering, Profile Photo, Service Rate.
  7. You have completed the registration process and your account is now waiting to progress through the verification process.
    Verification result will be notified through email and push notification. Please allow up to 2 business days for this process to be completed. 

Connecting Bank Details

All Villey helpers are required to connect their bank details as a form of ID verification before they can connect with clients and book jobs through the Villey platform.

  1. Click the Connect Bank Details banner from your dashboard (Find a Job) page, or go to Profile, click the gear icon (⚙), pick Payment Methods
  2. Click the Connect bank account then click Register bank details. You will be redirected to Stripe Australia to complete this part of the set-up. (Note: Villey partners with Stripe Australia for ID verification, secure payments and financial services).
  3. Enter the same Phone Number and Email Address that you have used to register at Villey, then click Submit
  4. Verify your login by entering the verification code sent to your phone number
  5. Enter information about your business:
    Type of business: Most helpers will be operating as a sole trader/individual.
    Business structure: Click which option is most appropriate for your situation.
    I have an Australian business number (ABN)
    or
    I do not have an ABN

    Note: You can also apply for an ABN easily here: https://www.abr.gov.au/business-super-funds-charities/applying-abn
  6. If you have an ABN, input your details including Legal business name and ABN Number. If you do not have an ABN, you can enter your website or select No URL and add a description instead.
    Enter your bank account details including Bank Service Branch code (BSB) and Account Number.
  7. Account connected! Your Villey app will now show your Bank Account successfully connected. 

    Troubleshooting:
    Issues that involve frozen screens / incomplete processing of a loading wheel, can generally be fixed from a full-app restart. This restart will not remove the steps you have already completed, but tends to unfreeze a poor connection.
