Manage Jobs and Applications
View Available Jobs
- Go to Find Jobs menu at the bottom of your app homescreen
- The Villey App will list jobs available on the platform, defaulting to 'Jobs around you'. Note: You can search anywhere, tap 'Show jobs in this area' on map view to refresh the map.
- You can switch between List or Maps view using the display toggle on the top right corner of your screen (≡ for list, 🗺 for maps)
- On each job card, you can see information of each job including:
Client Name and profile picture.
Type of service (Family Helper, Home Resets, Home Organisation or a combination of both/all)
Session duration
Information whether a job is one-off or recurring (weekly, fortnightly)
Preferred time
Preferred days
Potential earning, calculated based on your hourly rate
Location (suburb)
Distance from your location - You can click on the card or Apply for Job to see more details about the job.
Apply for a Job
- Go to the job details for a job you think is a right match for you
- All the details listed on the job cards are also available on this screen, with a:
Description about the job (this is optional for the client to complete)
Link allowing you to view the Client profile - click on the client's name on About the client section
Link to initiate a discussion, Ask a question, which will open a chat window between you and the client.
Favourite this job feature, by clicking the heart icon on top right corner of your screen, so you can easily find the job later. - Click Apply for Job
- Fill in your Proposed Date & Time - days and times that suit you (Note: We recommend taking into consideration the Client's preferred days / times)
Please note:
For a One-Time job with specified time, this section cannot be edited, as the job’s date and time has been set by the client.
For flexible job, you can update your proposed days and time - Click Continue
- Review your application details and agreement. Write a personal message to the client to show why you’re the best person for the job.
- Review and, if needed, adjust the rate of your proposal.
- Make sure you check the terms and agreements compliance before submitting
- Finish applying by clicking on the Apply now button
- Application complete! Client will be notified of your application, and any updates will be sent to you through email and Villey app’s push notification.

Edit Job Application
- Go to Find Jobs, and pick Applied filter at the top of your screen
- Click View job details on job you’d like to withdraw your application from
- Click Get assistance, then choose Edit application
- Make the required changes on the Proposed Date & Time screen, and also on the Personal Message and Rate screen
- Finish by clicking on Update application
Withdraw Job Application
- Go to Find Jobs, and pick Applied filter at the top of your screen
- Click View job details on job you’d like to withdraw your application from
- Click Get assistance, then choose Withdraw application
- Please fill in the reason for withdrawing the application so the client is well informed
- Withdrawal process completed! Client will be notified of your withdrawal.
